Did the "crackheads" put all that rust on your bike as well? Your entire story has a lot of holes in it, and I doubt your bike was ever stolen in the first place. Sounds like insurance fraud to me.

Nice first post sflarider.

Guess you missed the part where he said he didn't have insurance.

Doesnt matter if he has insurance or not. I dont believe a word he says. And it doesnt matter what my first post is, I have the right to express my opinion.

Oh, and thank you. I am civilized, I just find it hard to swallow the fact that someone crept in his backyard, and hotwired a rust bucket like that.
Then, they leave it? Crackheads wouldve taken it to the first place they could to get money, for guess what: more crack.
Even crackheads have principles, even though they might run at a lower standard, they still know the value of a dollar.

man you need to step up a notch. get rid of that 250 and get a real quad. my wife rides a lot bigger quad then that. and being a former police officer myself, you would not even begain to think of the crazy sh*t crackheads do. I observed 3 guys one night break into a vehicle drive it 6 blocks down the road, go into a house, buy some dope, get in the stolen car drive 8 more blocks and park the car in a store parking lot and leave it there and begen to walk down the road before my partner and i stopped them. they never had a clue the my patrol car was behind them the whole time. THATS how stupid crackheads can be. AND WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!.................shea....................

Yea my bad, I was a little harsh. I apologize to the op. I have a 250r and if you can get a hold of one, that would your best bet if youre upgrading.

If you were talking about the off brand, yea its a beater bike. Im not expecting much out if it, it just looked pretty cool, and with the low cost, then I thought Id see how fun it could be to mod it out. It does have good for being a Chinese quad.

Sucks that you got ripped off, but at least you got the quad back. I learned a long time ago (from a friend) to get the quads insured!
