Default Identifying Quad

Hello,
I have been give a quad, not sure of the make. When I was given this he was'nt sure if it was a 110cc or 150cc.
The engine number starts with CQ1P52.....
The frame has a number stamped on it, start with LAPCHZB04........
Also on the engine it has the lettering "KF"
It has a Shaft driving system on it. "No Chain"...

Is there anyother way of identifying what make it is...Its a none starter and would love to get this going doe the summertime.

Can anyone please HELP!!!!!

well, soes it look like a mud or trail quad, or more like a racing quad. is it 4wd or 2wd? what color is it? how old is it? most of you name brand quads are pretty easy to reconize, if you are pretty fimilliar with quads then it shouldn't be very hard to identify it. it may be and off brand like a chinese make.....................shea..................

Thanks for the post...
Its a 2wd, colour, i think initially was red but has now black.
My knowladge of quads is NONE. I can't tell the brand by looking at.
Probably an off brand knowing my look.

The problem I have with it is the wiring loom, there a black wire coming from the front of the quad that's burnt through and melted a number of wires to its self. even melted the male connector. I'm keen to find out the quad make so I can purchase a new loom.

Thanks

Well, you only posted 9 digits of the VIN, so I can tell you this much:

L = Asia
A = China
P = ?
C = ?
H = 150 - 199cc
Z = shoud be a number 1-7. No Z listed.
B = 11th model version
0 = model variation. Usually its an A.
4 = Check digit to verify if the VIN is real.

The next digit would be the year.
The next is the factory code.
Last 6 is the serial number.

Without more clues or a pic, I have no idea what that is.

I'm still in the same situation with this, I have bought 2 wiring harnesses but always differnt coloured wirs and different plugs. with me attempting to modify these I now can't get this to spark. :>( If I can find out the company who made this, it will make it a lot easyer as I can buy the correct harness of them.
So if you can help It will be very much appriciated.

I can supply pic's this week end, if this would help.

The VIN should be 17 digits. If you have all 17 you can run the number a few places online. I tried what you said and it came up as a partial number. Maybe you need a Chinese keyboard to type in that one odd character.
