That means my son is almost your age.
I think bultaco had a 250, maybe 1971/72, anyway when you get off a yamaha 125 enduro and get on the bultaco, its wild how fast the engine rpm goes up when u stomp the back break . before I rode the ole honda 50 I was on the neighbors riding mower{probobly from sears} doing wheelies around the block, till i got caught anyway. My best ride was on a Honda Elsinor 125. If i remember right it was a 6 speed and on the back wheel all the way. Didn't have to worry about broken bones or missing work back then..LOL

An entertaining song is Weird Al Yankovich's "When I was your age". It's a great download from iTunes if you have a chance. Full of the kind of comments I make to my kids all the time: When I was your age, I had to walk uphill to school both ways. That type of thing. My buddy and I used our older brothers' mini bikes until his uncle gave him a Vespa 150cc motor scooter. It was kind of a dumb and dumber ride for us young punks. We put "off road" knobbies on it and rode the trails in our neighborhood. I don't know how many times we hit the floorboards and went flying. Good memories.

So your either saying that I'm not an old fart or that you're a really old fart.
Anyway I had a steel wheel skate board, I didn't do it but remember the tube testing machines at the store, and my first mini bike was a briggs & stratton which had a big paddle that would ride the back tire when you hit the brake.
Look at it this way none of you old farts aren't toooooo old because you can still remember your younger years! Cheers ya'll!
