Default Oil Change for Cold Weather

thanks a bunch, i just ordred some maxima 530MX! should be here after xmas so i will change the oil ASAP. the temp is suppose to plummit to 0ish for a few days and im scared to run my ATV with 10-w40 in it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] i want the best protection for my mechine. especally since the midwest has had 5+ good snows so far, and im out plowing a minimum of 4 hours a day.

Would it be wise to change to a different 2 cycle oil in the winter?

I haven't owned a 2-stroke since I sold my Blaster many many years ago. So, I haven't kept up on 2-stroke oil developments. Certainly, a synthetic is going to benefit you no matter what.....
