Hate to hear people getting hurt! The drinking definetly does not help! I hope he recovers and sees that this does not help our sport in anyway nor does it make it more enjoyable. I'm all for having some brews, but after the riding is over! Finally.....PLEASE wear a helmet!! Life is far to important to not wear one....and if something were to go wrong, I would choose having a "shell on that melon" any day of the week!!! Again, I hope that he is O.K and can enjoy riding again!!

 

update- well he woke up after 3 weeks,they did cut part of his skull to relieve the pressure and bleeding and is supposed to make a recovery,not saying if its a full recovery but he should be able to function again.

 

That's good to hear. Life is something that comes only in limited quantities. I have a good friend in his last days of terminal cancer. He's know to the point where he can't drink even water. It's just so stupid to waste life on boozing. And to add no helmets to the equation....
