I finally got a hold of ATV Off Road Fury today. It has an awesome Wes Miller intro, and an EXCELLENT soundtrack. I swear some of the shots were straight from Huevos III.
I first tried out a 400EX. It rocks. The engine sounds are pretty great, not perfect, but right up there in quality. Again, I am very impressed with the soundtrack. So far, the game is exactly like Motocross Madness (made by the same company). But since my PS2 is connected to a 27 inch tv instead of a puny 19 inch monitor the graphics really make you feel right there. The graphics are spectacular. Just as good as MCM, virually the same I say.
I tried the Banshee. It sounds kickin' but get this; it has electric start! I thought that was funny. Wheelies are easy on both quads. They seem to handle the same, but I have only played for 15 minutes. Those are the only quads I tried, gotta go play some more...

Hey, can you be a 250R? I downloaded some preview movie clips for the game and a couple movie clips had a red quad w/ cut fenders, nerfs, and number plate on the grab bar. I swear it looks just like a 250R. I haven't gotten the game yet but the clips look great. I especially like the 'Nac's Racing' billboards in the stadiums.

I called Amazon.com this morning and ordered the game for my 10 year old son. I hope we get it before we head down to Mexico to go riding next week!

I got my copy last night and played for several hours. It has to have some of the best graphics that I have seen yet on the PS2. The only thing I didn't like about it was whoever was the game designer didn't research the ATV's very good. Like pointed out all ready the Banshee has electric start? Also the balance of the ATV's seems to be off. It has a Polaris 400 faster at accelerating, faster top speed and better handling than a Banshee !!! Since I have both quads I think I can speak from experence that This is totaly wrong!!
But except for the miss balancing the game is AMSOME!! Highly recommended.

I really am not a big game player, but my roommates and I race almost every night. The graphics are excellent and the overall game play is just short of perfect. If yuo enjoy quads and video games I would highly recommend this game!!

Yea, this game is pretty cool. The only things that suck are that the 2-strokes have electric start and the 2-stroke 250R looking thing looks like a 4-stroke engine.
For some reason I can't play 2 players. Do I need a memory card or something just for 2 players? As soon as I plug the 2nd controller in, everything locks up.

I haven't even tried two player yet. That is the next frontier. I gotta try the multitap too.

Are you using a ps2 controller, or a dual shock? My old PS1 digital controllers work fine, but My friends old PS1 Analog (non dualshock) controller won't work at all.

I have beaten this game half a dozen times now and can't unlock any more quads. All I did was get the ALLOUTAI and the 1000 quad. I have tried the cross country races, and won, but still no new stuff unlocked. I am losing interest now. But this weekend, I might have some friends over to play multiplayer. (better see if it works first huh?)

The game is still fun to just thrash around in, but I don't like it that the rider falls off so easy on hill climbing, or going down a steep hill.

I was using the black PS2 controller that came with it but when I plugged in a PS1 controller into player 2 slot, no buttons worked. I know the PS1 controllers work fine with other games on PS2.
The game is also kind of retarded when you race the computer quads, they always stay in a group. It seems like the group stays around you no matter how fast or slow you ride.
