QUAD Magazine
#1
Anyone else a little disappointed with the last few issues of QUAD? First off, only having posters every other month isn't terrible, but weren't we due for one this last issue? I know Howell said the mags were thinner due to lack of ads, but it just doesn't feel as rich in content.
Oh and the surfing adventure seemed a little too much like an ad for Transworld Surf, their sister magazine. It wasn't that great of an adventure.
Anyone with me, or am I just picky?
ATV Action and Dirt Wheels (just by picking up DW, I don't subscribe to them), seem just as good and thick as ever. Not sure why QUAD is so affected by the tanked economy. Maybe cause they're newer and have a smaller subscriber base?

The last couple issues were a bit thin. I really don't follow the racing scene, so those articles don't interest me much. I like the new product reviews, the tips, and fixes. Their shootouts are what I like best. They give a very honest review IMO, plus they take budget into account.

Wow, I just got my May issue of Quad, and it is really thin. Its only 82 pages long. This is pretty disappointing. There's no poster as promised either. What has it been now? Three months w/o a poster?
If this keeps up, I'm not sure I'll keep subscribing.
