This is killing me! I have two injured knees, and can't ride for at least a month, maybe two. Doing physical therapy and trying to avoid having surgery, and I am progressing fairly well. This is a work related injury, not riding related, just for the record. (Why does eveybody I know ask if I did this riding?)
But the desert riding season is about to start! Last week it was 105 degrees (to hot to ride, except at very high altitude), and today it is 66. I could have been at Ocotillo Wells today! Guess I will just have to watch football.....

I haven't ridden since February and most likely will not ride until our Thanksgiving trip to the Oregon dunes.
I broke my foot (heel bone) real bad back in March and had surgery to repair it.
The foot is healed but my ankle still has a ways to go.
Most every one I know, knows I'm in construction so they ask if I fell off a ladder, that is what happened.

I feel your pain. A couple of years back I broke both wrists (construction accident, not riding). Needless to say there was no ATV riding from May through September that season.
Have you ever considered a SxS? I've never even ridden in one but could possibly see one in my future as I've noticed that I get older every day. I've ridden in company with several Razrs and they seem to be able to handle trails with a fair amount of spirit.

I feel for you ReconRanger. I have two knees that have never healed quite right and a disc injury in my back to make it worse. I can still ride though. I hope you can heal up quickly so you can get back out there on your light quads and have some fun.

I loved the old Honda Odyssey/Pilot, but the current crop of SXS's just don't catch my fancy much. (Plus I can't count the number of times that some drunk redneck driving one, has almost killed me!) When you get to a certain size/weight, you might as well have just gotten a small truck or Jeep, that is also street legal in all 50 states.
My injuries are not permanent, so I should be back riding in 1-2 months anyway.
