It's amazing how much difference a pistol or shotgun could make in circumstances like this. My father was coming home from a trap shoot and got on a rural road on his way home. A car full of teenagers kept speeding up behind him and braking at the last second. They'd drop back and do it again. My father pulled to the side and let them go by. Then when he came around a bend, there they were in the middle of the road. They would let him get close and take off. They did this several times. Finally, he came around a bend and there they were. Only this time they were out of the car. He stopped about 50 yards from them and got out, opened his trunk and pulled the shotgun out into full view. They got the idea. I wish the guy in that story had a pistol to defend himself.

 

I would love to be in a 2000lb car dueling out with a bunch of ATVs on the street. It would not be me going to a hospital and off the road.

 

That kind of reminds me of the guy who was driving a semi-tractor trailer truck during the Rodney King riots. Here were a bunch of lunatics throwing bricks at a guy just trying to do his job and he stopped. They pulled him out of his truck and almost bashed him to death. If it were me, I'd drop it down a gear, honk the horn, and floor it to get out of a deadly riot scenario.

 

Something about this story is very fishy.......it does not add up very well....

 

Dude!!! this is outrageous in my opinion, those retards are ruining our reputation... next we'll have people protesting and trying to shut down our ORV trails and stuff like that, I hope they find those guys. It DOES sound fishy, but still, something like that should NEVER happen.

 

That is messed up, what a bunch of Sh*T Heads.

 

400 block of east ontario sounds like its with in city limits. I bet the driver of the car owed some money.

 

At any rate, hopefully the police sort out who was involved, and some people go to prison...

 

The story sounds just like that...A Story. Any news articles in the local papers other than a posting on a web site? It looks like something made up by a bunch of tree huggers trying to stir up trouble before they go after yet another OHV trail to shutdown.
