Ya, they are kinda cheap. But, I once replaced my struts in a Honda civic and didn't put the boots back on. The dirt seemed to eat up the seals quickly and began to leak. May not have had anything to do with the boots but, after that I'm always overprotective.

 

Ya no December issue here neither.

 

Got my December issue today in a plastic bag with the notification on a seperate sheet of paper. Guess I'll have to get use to reading about MX for the next year and a half...........................what a bummer.

Don't really have any interest in MX....Thanks Quad.....but no thanks.......keep the change.

 

What really ticks me off is that they kept sending out promo's. Still do. I had a ton of them in the last issue. So great lets sign for 2 years of something I didn't sign up for! YAY!

I got something like 3 issues for a payed 3 year subscription. That is BS.

 

The kids at school were out peddling mags for their school. Of course, got a relative doing that (don't we all) and I almost ordered the mag. But since it wasn't a 12 month subscription, I passed and got something else. Will Popular Mechanics ever stop publishing? I can remember just looking at the pics before I could read when my dad was getting them.

Trust me, that was a long time ago.

 

And I bet they were still hoping for flying cars back then weren't they??
