I have a 2500 warn on my Vinson and has always worked good. Mainly used for plowing snow, but the other day i was using it to pull a light load and I got off the quad to hook onto a new spot and the handle bar switch was now backwards out for in and in to run line out ? The winch also does not have enough power now to pull the quad with the brakes on like it should. What is the problem likely to be, burnt motor, contractor ?

 

Sounds like the contactor went bad. Check all your connections too, for corrosion or loose fittings.
