Stripping paint on ATV plastics????
Hello:
My friend just bought a 94 Timberwolf, which appears to run strong. He's in the process of restoring it as much as he can, without spending too much money. The precious owner painted all the plastics white, and the seat black. The original
color was green with a brown seat. The paint job is decent, but is now starting to chip an peel
in places, I'm not sure if it's spray paint, or something better.
I'm just wondering if the white can be stripped? I was thinking maybe wet a rag with lacquer thinner or acetone? I have no idea what would be the best thing to use. Were not looking to repaint it back green, just looking for a way to efficiently remove the white, so we have the green.
Thanks!
