Default Has anyone ever "Rhino Lined" their ATV?

So I was thinking the other day of the next quad I want to get (a sport quad). I like only a few colors it comes in, but they are not what the majority are.

What if I Rhino Lined the plastic? (as in that rough flat black stuff they spray as truck bed liners)

Has anyone done this before or heard of anyone doing it? It would seem like its a good idea. The stuff is very durable and strong. Would be great for someone who rides in rough terrain or woods where scratching will likely happen. Plus, I think it would look pretty badass, but have never seen it done on a ATV before. Anyone have any pics maybe if it has been done?

Plenty of people have done it to parts of their quads (including me). However, i don't think it it would be good to do the entire bike in. It's too heavy, and it doesn't flex as much as it would need to on a sport bike.

funny this came up. I was just looking at a Kodiak that some guy had painted the whole quad with bed liner. I thought it was strange, but the pictures looked good. You could see the green plastic in a few spots.

Wow, that looks amazing. What brand of bed liner did you use? Was it a DIY kit or did you have someone else do it? I am wondering if there is enough in one kit to do two ATVs. I think this would be a great solution on older ATVs with scratches and faded plastic.

It's Herculiner. I bought the 1 gallon DIY kit which includes a gallon of product, 2 rollers, and sand paper. Supposedly, that kit would put 2 coats on a full size, 6' bed.

It's been on there about 3 yrs, and it still looks good. No problems at all. The key is PREP WORK !!!!
