And some people expect the ATV/motorcycle trails to be opened up for a monster like that.

Mrs. Moose and I rode from Upton, ME into Gorham, NH to get lunch. It really stinks when you come around a corner and there's a machine that is almost as wide as the trail is. Ended up it was Camp RZR day in Gorham, and Berlin, NH. Never seen so many RZR's in one day.

One ATV trail I was riding was wide in some places but still restricted to 50" or less vehicles. I just happened to stop for a break off to the side of the trail or I would have come head to head with a dune buggy going the other way. Idiots. There's probably a lot of UTV traffic on it since they're so popular now.

ATV and SxS competition is a lot of fun but the manufacturers will actually hook you up for doing battle on their equipment:

We've used foam and Styrofoam for years to absorb impact in our helmets but some new technology may change the game:

That's such a fancy helmet I'd be afraid to wear it. I might accidentally scratch it.

Seriously though, anything that reduces brain stress in an accident sounds good to me.

Here in the US, taking an ATV on the most of the roads means a visit from the policeman. Mexico, however, isn't quite so strict about such things. Does that mean what Ken Block has been doing on the streets there is legal? We have no idea!

Polaris has pretty much conquered the land so now they want the sea. Ironically they once had a powerboat and personal watercraft division a few years back. This latest news has us wondering if they are going to want to get that back:

We all know there were automatic clutches, manual clutches and automatic transmissions but did you know in the late 90s one manufacturer developed a new type of transmission solution for its 4x4 ATVs:

Didn't the Rubicon have a different setup than most of the other Honda automatics?
