Parents...Keep An Eye On Your Kids
#1
A day at the track can be a fun-filled day for the whole family when everyone is aware of the dangers riders and even spectators (especially the little ones) can face while there.
I spectated at the White Bros. 4-Stroke Nationals in Las Vegas today (my quad was down). The first moto of the pro quad class was awesome to watch, bar to bar from start 'til finish. It was extremely HOT here in Vegas...I'm guessing around a 100. I waited and waited a good 1-2 hours in the heat, w/o air conditioning for the final moto of the pro quad class. Finally, they called the quads to the line. Then, they called the flaggers in, because they decided the track needed to be watered. About 20 minutes later (and after the water truck watered the track 3 times) the quads were still sitting on the line.
The announcer said that all the races were cancelled after about 30 min. of waiting for the quads to go. I was MAD. I waited in 100 degree heat for hours and now they cancel the races. Then the announcer said that there was a very serious accident involving a 5-year-old and the paramedics had to help him.
I asked around and apparently this 5-year-old kid was playing around the trunk of his car. He got inside the trunk and somehow got locked in. He was locked in his trunk for over 2 hours. It was EXTREMELY HOT outside to the point where I thought I was going to pass out at times...and this kid was stuck in the trunk of his car for over 2 hours. Last I heard, he might not make it.
I thought it was necessary that parents are aware of this tragic accident. Keep an eye on your kids at all times, and keep this poor kid in your prayers.

i was at a dirt track watching the a-main for late models, these cars hit close to 100mph easily on the straight aways.anyway, as i was watching the 30 lap feature,i was also watching two kids not more than 5 yrs old running and playing less than 3 ft from the catch fence at the start/finish line.whats worse, they had been doing it all nite from the time they qualified to the last race.i never did see thier parents.

It doesnt take more than a few to ruin it for every 1 else. Some parents are not fit to be parents no wonder they want to license parents.I see it in the stores too kids playing w everything parents dont say nothing. No wonder when kids get to be in there teens there running there parents and teachers. My parent grew up old school and,my mom felt that this country has lost total control and that we are on the edge of decadence.I wonder if any 1 else feels that way including parents.
