Hello everyone, I want to take an ATV Mechanics course but do not know the cost or what is required. Any help on this would help. I really didn't want to do one of the "Learn at home" courses, I wanted to go someplace that offers hands-on and real life situations.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I went to witc in New Richmond Wisconsin,just graduated from the machinists class, i might go to the small engine class next year, it is a one year course, 9 months i think, probably 2200 bucks or so, it is for a technical diploma, the first semester is mostly smaller engines and stuff,but for the 3rd quarter you work on atv's , the engines, frames, everything,welding on them and stuff, they have a dyno there too, i see your from minneapolis, so that is a bit of a drive but they may have something closer

 

Thanks for the input, I am looking more for a couple of weekends over the winter or a 1-2 week course sometime. Don't have the 9 months. Thanks again
