Has anyone used the Clear Guard protection on their quad? Comments about it?

I used a similar product on my skis. If you know anything about skis, you know they scratched up in lift lines.

This stuff did a good job of protecting the skis from the small scratches. The big gouges still happened. The worst thing is after a while the plastic film gets cut up and starts looking bad. You have to scrape off every little piece of film before you can put the new stuff on. Takes forever and even longer on a quad.

Don't expect this to be the last thing you have to do for your machine. As it gets scratched-up, you'll have to replace it or live with the scratched film.

It might be worth a try. Probably cheaper than replacing the fenders.

Let us know some first hand experiences.

I have given this item considerable thought and was about to purchase it until I learned the price for what you get.

They charge $100.00 per quad. The only areas that are covered are the tops of the four fenders. That's it!

It seems that you shoud get alot more for $100.00. Super fancy graphic kits don't cost that much and cover considerably more area.

If they could figure a way to cover all of my plastic, I would gladly pay the $100.00. In fact, I wish somewbody made a clear plastic kit that covered all of my fenders. I would buy it in a minute since replaceing the kit would be a lot cheaper and easier than all of the plastic and graphics.

But $100.00 to cover only the tops of my fenders...no way!

As far as removing the product if it becomes damaged, it shouldn't be any problem. Just let the plastic sit in the bright sun for a few hours and you could probably peel it right off.
