I looked at the ********* forum and a lot of the atvconnection members have moved over there. I've always liked this forum and even with the bugs this new software has I'm still here, cussing at times but here. We all have to cut down or stop on the bashing of each others quads. I admit I have done some softcore bashing a few months ago against the DS by taking up for my Banshee but I stopped. The way I figure it now is that as long as I'm happy with whatever I have then I could care less what anyone else has to say about it. Everyone here takes pride in their machines and likes to post questions dealing with a variety of things and answering other peoples posts. It's like the saying goes "different strokes for different folks". I know some people are ignorant of things and make uneducated posts but don't let them get to you and start a long flaming post, just ignore the SOB's. This is a great place to ask and answer questions for all and it seems that it gets out of hand a lot and it's hard to get a straight answer at times. I can't speak for everyone but I for one would like to be able to speak my mind without getting someone else's feathers ruffled up and for me not to ruffle someone else's feathers. It seems that it's mostly youngsters doing the most flaming but the elders aren't always out of the fire either. I'll admit I'm only 20 but I try like heck not to pi$$ anyone off and I probably do still every once in a while. Hate to ramble on but I feel we all have to work on this to keep this the best damn ATV board on the net, cause I always have loads of questions for yall.

 

It's about time somebody said something!!! I myself have only had a quad for about a year now, growing up we only had dirt bikes. But anyway, this site is an endless source of experience and knowledge. I have gotten more tips and ideas about mods and things than I could have possible gotten anywhere else. BUT to get that info, sometimes I have to wade through a sea of S**T. There is more of my quad can beat your quad than I care to deal with. WHO CARES!!! I want info and in turn I'll share info, it's that simple. There is nothing wrong with good natured ribbing. Well I'll get off the soap box now, it's getting late. If you will look at the red box below each post you'll see a red box that says "notify moderator". That's exactly how to address the problem that you describe. Click on the box & send the offending post to atvbbs.
With upwards of 6000 members, the staff can't be every where at once, so we must do a little self-policing, just as in the non-cyber world.
