In 35 years of off-road riding, including thousands of miles of dirt bike riding as a kid in Baja (without a helmet--I was young and stupid!!), I have never has so much as a scratch. Well, the odds finally caught up with me, and I rolled the Rancher on steep technical downhill this weekend. I landed hard on my left shoulder, and the EVS Jersey saved me form what would otherwise have been a severe shoulder injury, maybe even broken bones.

This thing has great shoulder, elbow, and back protection!! I do wish the chest protector was a little bigger and stiffer though. Still, I think it is superior to the standard plastic chest protector. Get all the safety gear you can find, and wear it!!
