Try starting in 2nd, what kind of ride are you on? It's easier with a clutch. Doy use so much the machines power but your weight and position. Sit with your butt of the edge of the seat, rev it a little pop the clutch to get the feel for it. If it is an automatic clutch shift up, dont let the lever drop back down, rev a little, drop the lever down. Main thing is to use your position.

it takes skill to ride long wheelies. when your engine revs out like that you need to shift without using the clutch

its real simple actually. when you bring it up and start riding it you have to get ready to shift gears and don't be afraid to go over if it does because the back bar will just set it up and you can hold on to it till it stops. on my 400ex if I'm barely moving and give it gas to lift the wheels I'll click it into 2nd right there and keep riding the wheelie. if you just keep trying you'll eventually see what you're doing and start improving and you'll be riding like a pro. me personally I can ride through all the gears on my bike and real soon you'll be able to do the same. my opinion if you want to ride wheelies, you like to do them, or whatever the reason is you'll learn how to do them and you'll be doing them all the time like it ain't nothing. well good luck buddy hope you get them rolling good. later from #1 stunning madmike
