I have a Ceet seat cover for my 250R and want to put it on. I was wondering, how hard is it to get it on there perfectly. I have a staple gun and all I just don't want to get it on there crooked. I want it perfect. Is this something you could simply do on your own?

 

I put a ceet cover on the banshee....It was not bad....I used 1/4 inch staples from an air powered staple gun...but I see no problems with a regular staple gun working either....

I would start with the front of the seat and work from there back. Stretching as you go. It is recommended that you leave the original cover on... if it is in good enough shape.

 

Put the new cover in a clothes dryer and get it warm before you try to put it on. It will make a world of difference. Just don't get it to hot and melt it.

 

RidE, I attempted installing my Cascade seat cover with a standard staple gun and it would not penetrate the plastic. I then tried an electric staple gun and it still would not penetrate. My next attempt was successful.... I took it to an upholstery shop and used his air stapler. If you are lucky, they may let you use their stapler or just do it for you. It only takes 5 minutes. You could also try a picture framing shop and use their stapler.
