Cleaning Aluminum?
#1
Just purchased a 2002 Rubicon (pics below).
Anyone know what to use to keep a new engine looking new?
After just a couple of outings, I notice stains that don't seem to want to come off. Couldn't resist the mudholes....
I'm sure the the clean freak in me will wear off in time, but I would like it to look nice for a little while at least...

Do NOT repeat DO NOT USE CASTROL or Grease Lightning on aluminum,I contains hydroxide which is lye and will eat or actually dissolve aluminum and discolor it,this is actually the dissolving process. Its good for degreasing chains and blocks even aluminum 1s but ya have to wash it off fast.1 day I was cleaning my car and got it on my windshield,I got distraced and forgot to ge tit off,When I relized it a few days later it was 2 late it etched my winshield, stuff is bad for the skin too, will burn your skin and if ya have cuts woweekazowee stars.
