Paint on wheels

When I bought my Banshee, it had front rims that were painted and I thought they were steel. Since then I have discovered that they are aluminum. Does anyone have any idea how to get the paint off without staining or ruining the aluminum? Thx. Dean

how about some oven cleaner, i know hat the ppl with the stock gold rims remove the gold anodizaton with oven cleaner to bring them to an aluminum look. works great from what i have seen and then to get them to shine like douglas rims u can put some elbow grease into them
