I use pledge furniture polish . I hides alot of fine stuff and really shines up the plastic , plus it repels water and mud makes clean ups much easier . Been using it for years now . dont aplly in the direct hot sun , after spraying it on let it set about 10 min. then rub it off then in a few minutes buff it with a terry cloth towel. I think you will like it . They make polish kits but they are 20.00 . Try the pledge .

Jafo,
I agree with your truck comment. I will try the pledge also. My truck may still bring 10,000, but I cannot stand to watch them depreciate the amount of a good quad soon as you drive it off of the lot.

Got this from another guy in the forum: Wet sand with 400 grit, then finish with 1000 grit wet sand, this will make the plastic smooth, but will have a white haze on it.To remove the haze use 3M machine polish(I'm sure other types of metal polishes or buffing pastes would work-my quote, not his) using a foam bonnet air or electric buffing pad,the cloth pad will heat up and turn the polish into glue. When the white haze is all gone, wipe off the polish residue, Then wipe down with Turtle Wax 2001,similar to Armorall, leaving liquid on for 10 min. Wipe down with a cloth and hand buff dry,and it will shine like new.
I'm going to try this after my son and I are done riding this fall to rejuvenate the fenders before winter sets in,sounds like it should work good.
