Went to the Costa Mesa Sand Sport super show tonite, it's pretty incredible to see so many great buggies in one place. I'm hoping to get back on Sunday, (have to spend tomorrow with the kids at a museum, darn...) Too bad there weren't more quads there though, but there was a LT250 chassis with a 600 Katana motor in it, and several Banchees on display, and about 3 trick 250r's, but I expected more people to bring their customized quads out. I believe I only saw about 30 quads at most, and probably 150+ buggies.

There was the new Kawasaki KFX700 with roll design hardware on display, and I have to say it looked pretty trick. The rear swingarm looked kind of hokey though, I wonder how strong it's going to be? The rest of the chassis looked great, and ergonomics were pretty good as well.

Did anyone else discover anything else exciting?

Yeah, I was there duner, and that 700 is a real nice quad, I really liked the Roll/IMS Suzuki 400 sitting next to the Kawasaki, had all the trick stuff on it. There are so many trick rails out there, cant believe the money the sand guy's must spend on all that stuff.
