wondering if there was any difference in quality between different nerf bars made by different companies. Other than some are steel and others aluminum, what else is there. Notice that they are the same price, AC has more colors I think??

Possibly the method of webbing installation & replacement of same, general mounting, shape, & quality of the mounting hardware. I run Graydon's bars for the above reasons. They recently took almost a direct hit from a KX250 which bent the frame of my Warrior but caused only a slight upward bend of my nerf.

My DG alloy nerf didnt exactly fit my Blaster right. I have heard that AC nerfs fit good. On the mine, the U-blot hits the frame

one difference between them is the AC ones bolt to the front of the pegs and the dg bolt behind them. I have AC's on my 300ex and they fit perfect and they are very strong. I would get the AC's. later

DGs are the best for a stock 250R. I had Graydons on my 88 250R and they didnt last a whole season. DGs use Steel mounting brackets, not aluminum, which makes them much stronger. The netting is not the best on the DG's because it often slides around the nerf bar, but the strength makes up for it.

Call DG and ask how they mount to your particular machine. If they use steel mounting brackets, they will hold up well even under the biggest punishment. We used to carry my 88 250R MX quad by the nerf bars, and they wouldnt even flex one bit. Try that with those foot peg mounted bars.

The AC's are different shape, but I dont think nearly as strong. The mounting also leaves a lot to be desired cause mine didnt fit worth **** and now they kinda wobble or something. I also like the DG mounting behind the footpeg on my 300EX cause when jumping I put my weight back onto the nerfs not the footpegs and my feet dont get sore. I ust recently got the AC's and have been having a hard time adjusting to not doing this.
