atv plastic

What is a good wax or protectant for atv plastic? Something thats easy to find and not too expensive. I'd rather get a wax thats not too pricey at an auto parts store that works ok than to spend a lot on a special product thats hard to find, but works great.

Two very inexpensive products that are commonly used in the group that I ride with are Pledge and Mop N Glow floor wax. I'm not sure how good of a sealant or protectant they are, but it's good for a quick shine anyway. I think you would need to bump up into a different price range for a good protectant.

Turtle Wax Formula 2001 spray. It protects against the suns UV's, really shines up the plastic and makes scratches harder to see. It beads water and helps with the clean up, the dirt just wipes right off when you wash it. Best stuff I have ever tried and I've tried allot. You can get it at Wal-Mart for about $3.50 a bottle.

Mark up another vote for the 2001. Just spray the quad down (everything) and walk away, when you're ready to ride wipe off what little residue is still left and you have a great looking quad that will shed mud like water off a duck's back.
