I have heard alot about both trucks but it sounds like the hemi has alittle more power?

 

I would rather have a Dodge Hemi. i'm a dodge and chevy guy though. have u seen the Dodge SRT-10? a ram with the viper engine in it....that is gonna be awesome. later.

 

The new Dodge looks awesome, and the Hemi i think only comes in the 2500 but im not for sure. It would pull alot better than the lightning. But the the Chevy 2500 Duramax HD is the best baby!

 

i would take the lightning over the hemi but the srt10 is my dream truck!!

 

Check this out. New V-10 Hemi with 600 HP. Just get the 2500 w/ Hemi. Same engine in a truck that's much more capable. Better yet, get the Cummins[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I dont think the engineers had this in mind when they dreamed up the Lightning!

 

Yeah, why pull? Just put it in the back of the truck.

 

I dont think the Lightning can carry much either. Maybe the old christmas tree.

The Lightning's quicker, but it's not rated to tow much, it's more for performance than utility use. The Dodge Hemi is rated to tow a lot more, I'd go with it, unless you're hauling heavy loads, in which case I'd recommend you look at a Ford Superduty with the V-10, or the Chevy/GMC HD with the 8.1 V-8. Although the hp figures for these don't look too spectacular compared to the Lightning or the Hemi, they're truck motors, and make tons of low end grunt. If you're going to spend lots of time towing, you might want to consider a diesel, but they're big bucks, and not a whole lot of fun compared to a gas motor.

 

If you get a diesel, I would reccomend a straight drive. Diesel and automatics dont get along very well.
