I am getting ready to purchase a bigger trailer for hauling my Quads around. The Gate (Or Ramp) style trailer is the only way to go, especialy if you want to haul more than 1 or 2 Quads.
I am probably going to get a Trailer made by a company called Iron Eagle. They make a trailer that allows you to load your Quad from the back or from either side. Makes loading them a lot easier.
You can take a look at what I am talking about by going here: Quad Trailer

I had a tilt trailer that was 5x8. It was alright as long as you had just one to load. Now I have a 20 ft. trailer with a rear gate and a side gate too. The side gate is nice so you can load two up front sideways. But the rear gate sure does eat up the gas mileage. It's over 6ft now, but time I get done with it, it will be half that size. If it were me, I would gate with the gate. Good Luck DennisC
