Default Cheaper Speedometer Anyone?

Once in awhile I see people asking about speedometers. Anyone ever consider using a bike speedometer? The only downfall is that mine doesn't have a back light. But I don't ride at night that much. My speedometer has 8 functions- speedometer, top speed, avg. speed, odometer, trip distance, clock, trip time, and scan. All for 20$, and its very accurate. It mounts by the light switch and I can reach it without taking my hands off the bars. It's also very visible while riding.

2000IAWarrior,
Not everyone has thought of a bike speedo. Alot of people may not even realize you can use a bike speedo on an atv. My speedo has lasted for over a year now going through worst rain & snow storms than a mail carrier will even deliver in anymore and it still works fine. So, I don't think I will have to buy more and more. I was directing this toward the people that want a speedo but can't or don't want to spend $80. on a speedo.
You have a right to your opinion and if it makes you feel better spending 3/4 more than you had to.
Then I hope you feel better.
I'm sure the Trail Tech is a fine speedo and that light makes it definitely worth an extra $60. It does have a nice mounting and it looks cool.

Before I'd buy a speedo for $80-$100 I'd get a cheap GPS for the same money. A yellow E-trex can he found many places for $99 and you get a lot more than just a speedo.
