Any suggestions for a good light weight helmet for kids that doesn't cost over $100.00? Am I asking too much? I see Shoei, HJC and others that make some composite helmets that are under 3lbs. But they want 300-600 for them. I have tried the $30 helmets but they seem too heavy and strain my kids' neck. I can't justify spending 300-600 for my kids when they will out grow it in a year.

Any suggestions???

I bought my daughter a Fulmer AF-R. It was lighter than most of the other helmets I looked at. It was about $140.
