I have been looking into a new frame for my 250r for some time now. I seems that most aftermarket frames are worth $2000.00 give or take. I sent an email to Cannondale the asking if they would consider building a frame to the 250r specs. I would pay far more than $2000 for one. They said they wouldnt, mabey if enough interest was shown they would change there minds? If you are interested start sending them emails, from the cannondale web sight. Or does anyone know someone who will make an aluminium trx frame?

Try Lonestar they make chassis. I don't know what they are made of though, but I do know that they do cost quite a-bit.

Try calling around locally to some metal fabricating or welding shops. One of them may be able to do it, and if you are lucky it may just be much cheaper than one from Lonestar.

If you want an aluminum frame from cannondale, just buy the new FX400.

You could try talking to brown brothers. They make aluminum frames for dirt bikesand I'm sure they would take on a new project
