Default 2 stroke radiator question

do the radiators have to be mounted above the motor like on a dirtbike? only reason why l ask is because after l got my rm 250 motor on my 4 wheeler, lt now runs hot. maybe a stupid question but l need to know, thanks.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

it should be mounted above the motor so it doesnt block the wind draft across the cylinder.

thanks for the info, kinda thought that would be the way to do it. l temp. mounted them to test drive, think maybe l blew the head gasket. l now have a loss of compression, thanks again for the info

if you blew the head gasket you'll be sucking water bad. You'll know

ok, not head gasket then. radiators still hold coolant, motor just sounds funny like loss of compression
