Default Boyesen Power Reed Problems, Need Help

I just installed brand new boyesen power reeds into my 03 banshee. After everything was put back together I tried to start it and nothing, it wouldnt run at all. It wouldnt even fire. There was lots of spark and if you put some gas in the carbs it would fire right up, but back fire alot and wouldnt run very good. So I was told that i need to adjust the jetting and thats why it wont start. Can anyone help me out here I would greatly appreicate any help at all, Thanks.

Hook up the short black hose that goes from the left to right carburetor . It is between the carbs and about an inch and a half long .

But i put new plugs in and then rode for about 10 min and then checked them and they were all white. I knew i was going to have to rejet but im not sure what i should do? What position should i put the clip in im sure its in # 3 right now and do i have to change the main jet and if so to what 220 or something? Please let me know. Thanks.

220 should be ok on a stock machine . If you have pipes and have tampered with the airbox lid you may need to be running between a 270 and a 310 . There are a lot of variables .
