250r in a 230s frame

Default 250r in a 230s frame

would a 250r motor work in a lt230s frame... i have a dead and rotting 230s and would like to start a project, paint the fram and all. would a 250r motor work? just wondering never seen one before.... lol

that would be awesome, if my 230 ever dies i would love to throw a 250R engine in there, would a 500 be out of the question? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Big hp motor in a very light frame = lots of fun i say go for it

Default 250r in a 230s frame

250 2-strokes are pretty small motors, so it should be workable. Do you have a 250R motor available? If not, maybe you can find something a bit more modern out of a dirtbike. Maybe the hardest part will be getting a pipe to work with the tight frame and finding a decent place for the radiator.
