sprocket help
hey, would u reccomend the 14 tooth sprocket for dune riding? i couldn't tell from all the posts if it gives more power and torque, or more top end? something with power and torque would be nice for me. i already have a FMF silencer, and re-jetted with new air filter, and a stage 1 hotcam. i figure with a new sprocket i will be able to climb jus about ne thing w/o a run in 2nd gear. how far off am i from the truth?

Hey CroBiker Let me try to answer that for you. Putting a new sprocket on does not add power or torque. However it does put the power that you already have where you need it. I wanted more performance for trail riding. gowing up hills, and pulling out of corners without having to down shift all the time. Changing the sprocket was definately a cheap and easy way to get the performance that I was looking for.
