I am looking for some simple mods for my new Rancher. It sounds like a new exhaust / filter / rejet is the way to go.

I use this for trail riding and so a very loud exhaust is not preferred, however a little louder than stock is okay for the performance gains!

Any recommendations for me? I have a few hundred dollars credit at my dealership, and know the parts manager so I can get a pretty good deal on anything he can order. He recommends "big gun" however hasn't found out if they have it for 04 Rancher yet.

I can also order online if that is a better option...

I have a friend that put a big gun on his 02' rancher 4x4 and it increased the power considerably.

 

was it just a little louder or REALLY loud?
