I guess this project could be deemed suicidal, but that's what makes it fun I guess. I really hate wheelie bars, but might consider them if I didn't have the hitch set up on the back for the jet ski trailer.

And I just bought set of douglas wheels with paddles......this monster is gonna tear em apart!

Hopefully, I can get some pics up within a day or two.

Later guys!

Hey guys, I got some pics, but I don't know how to post them. Unfortunately these pics will show you this project is basically impossible!!! The motor is way too high and just overall too big. I would have to cut the frame just below the neck and weld in a new structure all the way to almost where the swingarm mounts are. I would have to lower the frame at least 3-4 inches to get the carbs to clear the upper frame spar. The thing is if it could be done, I would have to ruin this mint frame be4 I knew if it would even work. I dunno...I'm kinda givin up hope right now.

Maybe I should get a frame off ebay to destroy, they go cheap.

Has anyone who's done a streebike swap in any quad had this project look impossible, yet still work out??

I put a 75 model gt750 engine into a 90 model q-sport frame. the frame i used had alot more room than the atc chassis, and i am guessing that being a 2stroke engine it is shorter also. I really didnt have any major hangups with the instalation. i actually have my engine centered in the frame and the sprockets lined up just fine. I know it is possible to mounted that engine in your frame. The have a guy that went to "the dunes" in forest hills, louisiana during thanksgiving. He had a 900 ninja motor in his bike. Another conversion i have seen alot is to make a street bike into a trike by making a new swingarm. my next project will be an 1100 into a quad frame. good luck
