how can I tell if the reeds in my blaster are boyeson?? It has boyeson stickers on it. I took them out today when i took the top end off and it had 2 petals.I know my 250r has boyeson reeds and it has 3 petals.and also do blasters come stock with a small spacer in between the cylinder and reed cage.

boyeson reeds are two stage one on top of the other the number of petals depends on the application

 

The spacer is aftermarket, its a reed spacer, they dont come with them stock.

So my bets are they are different reeds than stock since it has a reed spacer, he probably messed around with the reeds if he messed around with a spacer.

The reeds I got for my R were only 2 petal. it's an '86 honda atc. It said 250R right on them. Are they not the right ones. Can any motor damage occur with them?
