My buddy has a Scrambler 500 HO and he already has the pipes and jets and dial a jet, still not enough speed. So he found the boondocker nitrous system, the only problem is he thinks he'll need to upgrade his transmission or centrifugal clutch to one off of a 600 4x4 Polaris? anybody tried anything like this?

 

Why would he think that?I run a stock clutch on a 75hp race motor with no problems.His clutch will be just fine for what he has.

 

A TEAM performance secondary clutch wouldnt hurt at all. He may need to adjsut the weights and springs in the clutch for the Nitrous though.

 

run the hotseatperformance clutch kit on it. My buddy runs it on his scrambler 2x4. We have gotten alot of stuff from hotseats and they are a pretty good company. They know what they are doing. Order up there clutch kit, but dont change out your tranny unless your getting rid of the 4 wheel drive like im gonna do. theres really no reason too. Just dont get to bigga nitrous and dont hold it down longer then 5 seconds, you should be okay.
