what mods should i do to get 55+ hp out of my R? it has the stock cyl and it hasnt been ported yet. i was thinking curtis sparks, also what pipe /carb reeds shoudl i use thanks

 

right now curtis is about 6 months out. an esr 330 bolt on puts out around 60 to 62 hp and you can have it in 2 weeks. 39mm carb trx11 pipe v-force k+n filter kit.

 

i actually just bought a duncan R

the guy said it puts out around 58 and it starts first kick even in -20 degree weather we've been having. the cyl on it is so reliable i cant beleive it.

 

does the 330 kit your talking about have a powervalve? also how much does it cost and it the labor included in the price?

 

there's a lot of hot responses to the G3 Power 8 Petal Reeds from 1dir racing...I've bought them myself and am installing them this coming weekend..I'll let you know how it goes

 

You could just get a ESR engine kit and not have to worry about anything. Lots of power also.

 

A guy that I know and race with just put a paul turner 305 or 310, i cant remember, on his r and he loves it. walks all over my raptor and lots of other machines. the new paul turner pipe is nice too, a differnent friend has that on his r and has said great things about it.
