how can i learn performance modifications and performance porting???

Is there a website or something that would give me information related to performance modifications? i would like to learn how to do my own performance porting and things like that. is there any kind of source that u know of that would teach me this stuff or help me to learn it?? books, websites, manuals, cd roms??????? nething that might help me learn!

The best first place to enrich your mind would be to order the book by A. Graham Bell, 2 stroke performance tuning. Barnes and Noble would have it. All the basics as well as in depth things that will blow your mind being a beginner. You can find a lot of info out there, just keep looking. Also when you start porting yourself, get ready to buy a degree wheel and spend some bucks on carbide bits and cartridge rolls. They aren't cheap.
