I have a few questions about these carbs....1.How much do they cost?2. Will i lose a lot of gas mileage and lowend? 3. The powerband become broader or snappier?
Any suggestions about these carbs would help!!!
My 2000 Banshee needs someting else without losing gas mileage

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Mikuni's work great. MUCH improved throttle response, which improves launches. The nice thing about the Mikuni is that it uses the same jets (main, pilot, needle, ect.) as you stock carbs. So if you have a nice collection of jets you don't need to start over like with the Keihin carbs. The only drawback to these carbs is accessing the slide, it is held on with two screws instead of a thread on cap. It is a pain at first, but it's not too bad after you get the hang of it. Best of all they cost less. I got mine for under$320. Granted I got them at close to cost, but they are still cheaper than the Keihins. Plus they come with grips, two sets of main jets, some pilot jets, fuel line, twist throttle and cable, plus very good instructions. In fact I bolted them on started it up and it idled perfectly out of the box. All I did was synch the carbs and that is it. The jetting was real close as well. Good luck

I just bought the kehin 28mm pwk flatside carbs and they work great. I got them for $320 for my banshee with the twist throttle kit. But I stuck with my thumb throttle. The slides and needle settings are very easy to adjust on these carbs. My throttle responce is so much more snappier and there when I need it.... Good luck with your choice.
