A and S Racing

517.244.0712

I have been at his shop a couple of times in the past couple of weeks, and i am currently working on building a new 409 with him. right now I have a trinity 409 long rod, and he is going to be porting a new set of cylinders for me, and a couple of other things. I would reccommend him to anyone, he is very nice, and a straight shooter (some of these performance guys can be *****s - won't tell you anything). i have seen his 350 run, it beat 2 different 670 crankenstien banshee's, i haven't seen it at the track but everybody said it runs in the 4.2's. From what i have seen i would believe it.

I think somebody from arizona is buying his complete motor right now that he is running - 3500 bucks. he also has developed his own set of inframe pipes that make 7 hp more than toomey t5's.

hope i helped...

in addition, the only reason i am not building a 350, is because i already have the longrods, a new set of big bore pistons that i just put in, and my head is modded out to the 409 bore. Otherwise, i would be doing a 350 too, it is just to much money to get new rods, pistons, head, etc.

He runs 34 PJ's with his own alcohol set up. I am not sure how busy he is right now, i do know that he is a one man show, he does everything himself because he wants it done right. I am going to be doing my bike over the winter, so i wasn't really concerned with the time factor. I do know that he is also working on alot of snowmobiles getting them ready for the upcoming racing season (by the way, if you think a banshee is fast, Dan Hull also built a prostock 1000 cc drag sled that runs somewhere in the mid 4's in 500' - that is five hundred feet, he won the Michigan grass drag championsip for that class with it this year) His bike is making 92 hp at the REAR WHEELS. That is big, but it is not cheap either... I am sure he will do gas bikes too.

I am being absolutley honest, his personal bike was the fastest at silver lake over the fourth, and it was the busiest i've seen it in a long time. And alot of the other bikes he has worked on are running extremely well too...(meaning they are in front of me...)

Give him a call, tell him I sent ya, the name is Eric De Witt

ok about this 350 doing a 4.2 or around there...i know a good bit about drag racing since that is all we have down here in LA and everyone takes it extremely serious and if u have doubts just check out my buddies site at http://www.extreme_atv.homestead.com/webpage.html and see for yourslef but anyways there are many bikes with big stroker motos on all out drag frames that are fighting for their lives to get a 4.2 i guess for me to believe it i would have to see it and i plan on callin dan today to talk to him. he prolly does make fast running bikes but 4.2 is FAST! please dont let this cause a big uproar in the forum. thanks for all of yall's help and support

I don't know what to tell you, but i know what i saw, my quad runs somewhere in the mid 4's - probably 4.5-6's judging by the other people i am competitive (i haven't run it on the track yet, but am planning on it yet this summer) and i won't even line up next to hull's bike because he beats me so bad....that is the sad truth.

He was saying last week he went and ran 1/4 mile asphalt...he was runinng in the low 11's at about 105 mph. The mph wasn't as fast as other people running the same times or people even running slower times, but the banshe with autoshift just holeshots everybody hard. They wre using some unbelievably high gear rations - like a 17 on the front - and still running way out of gear..

i myself did get a chance to talk to dan and he said that his bike is the fastest he has built and his other gas ported bikes run about anywhere from 4.5-4.7's in 300ft...he said not many of his true 350's will run in the 4.2's cept his and it is the high 4.2's...sometimes 4.3's
