I need to put some stickers and reflectors on my new rear fenders. The service manual says you need to put primer on the fenders before applying the stickers. I tried to order the primer from the dealer and the primer was not available to sell to customers. Is primer necessary? What type should I buy and where can I buy it?

A small bottle of "sticker on" should work just as wel. Any good PWC dealer should have it in stock. I think Hardline makes it, and recommends it be applied before you put your registration numbers on your PWC. Cost is around $7. I don't see why it would'nt work for you.
