Will a Colder/hotter plug affect plug color?

Will a colder or hotter spark plug affect the color of the plug?(black-rich, white-lean)

shouldn't. not if you have it jetted right. you should run one colder plug in the sumer. regular one in spring in fall. and one hotter in winter. at least that what i do
