Has anyone ever tried the g3 powercurve reed setup offered by 1 dir racing? I read an old thread where several were discussing them but have seen nothing recently. How do they compare against boysen, v force, etc. Does anyone know the life of this setup?

 

yeah, there's a thread in the yamaha forum about these...they're amazing.
I went up over 14 jet sizes on my main and down on my needle and I'm still running lean. The low-end and midrange are just
insanely wicked and the top end pull is nothing short of sweet. Worth every single penny

 

Hey pimp, thanks for the reply. I read the thread on the yamaha board but it was all older stuff. Just wanted to know what people thought after having them for a while. Have you compared them with the other BIG named reed manufacturers. I read the sites dyno claims but it just intrigues me. I bid on some on ebay but was outbid by a dollar. Oh well guess I'll just have to pay full price and pray their money[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I have never tried them against other reeds, this is the first set of reeds Ive ever owned. But if you would be willing to buy me some delta's, boyen etc I will gladly test them for you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
