#1
I have a blaster engine laying around and dont know what to do with it.
I dont want to sell it.
can any body think of a small quad frame I could put it in for my sister. she's 8 years old and used to ride my blaster when it had the origanal engine in it.
if any body has any ideas for a project that would be great.
thanx.

I think i have got my hands on one. Im more concerned about where to find a carburator and how to make it all work with the air box. I think that the stock air box is way to restricted so I am either going to remove the lid and try and find a carb adapter to hook up the stock air box, or get a aftermarket aluminum one designed for a 38mm. If worse comes to worse then I will just run a straight K&N clamp-on.
So far everything seems to be working out alright. The engin that I am going to get needs a new top-end and possiable a connecting rod. Other then that It is in great shape. From what I have gathered the Pipe from a blaster can bolt onto the IT motor but you have to do a little bending when it comes to the scilencer.
I dont plan on having it done until almost the end of summer, maybe even might hold it off until next spring so I can make sure that i have everything I need and that I didnt cut any cornors.
But once she's done, she'll fly

Thats what im worried about.
I have heard it done before, with a stock blaster pipe. Not sure if it is a good idea however. I have access to a IT490 pipe but doesn't fit into the frame at all. I am going to check it out and compare the two. My blaster pipe has about the same chamber size as the old YZ490's did and the yz and the IT are almost identical.
