4-stroke's suck!!
Dan Hull had a red tripple cylinder banshee at Sand Mt, Nv on memorial day that did 89mph up the hill, that was the fastest recorded time for the weekend. I didn't see him with anything with a turbo. Those are very fast bikes but don't fool yourself they have the life expectancy of a fruit fly if they are ridden very far at all, to the hill and back is about it, methanol bikes have extremely short ranges and run it dry of fuel and it can kill a set of spendy thin wire plugs.

wrong, fastest mph that weekend was by insane racing and they did 94mph. Turbo's will have a very long life if you dont crank the boost up past 22psi. Ride one at 14-16 all day if you'd like.

well after reading through this post, couple things i'd like to add
for the ppl comparing quads to streetbikes - wats the point of that? they were made for two COMPLETELY different things, obviously quad would get destroyed on pavedment but how do u think it would do if they were racing in a recently harvested field?
and the comment about a banshee being the fastest stock - ionno you must have gotten some kind of a super banshee or somethin, i've never seen a stock banshee beat a stock ds or raptor, ones its piped n reeds tats a different story,
and 94mph up the hilll, isn't scooby on his turbo ds doing around 80 or so?
and yes a 2 stroke will always be faster dollar for dollar in mods, but i'd never trade my ds for one, maybe as a second machine but thats it, i like being able to start going up a steep hill at quarter throttle and just crackin on it, to make it to the top, don't think a 2 stroke will be doing that, atleast all the ones i've seen around here, i used to ride 2 stroke dirtbikes, if ya weren't in the powerband near the beginning of the hill be prepared to roll back down it backwards
