4-stroke's suck!!

its been said before, but just in case you missed it ill reiterate for ya. A 2-stroke can have just as much grunt and torque as a 4-stroke IF you build it that way, I.E. intake system, pipe, ect.

well after reading through this post, couple things i'd like to add i like being able to start going up a steep hill at quarter throttle and just crackin on it, to make it to the top, don't think a 2 stroke will be doing that, atleast all the ones i've seen around here, i used to ride 2 stroke dirtbikes, if ya weren't in the powerband near the beginning of the hill be prepared to roll back down it backwards

Hey..
I've been toasted by PLENTY of banshees going uphill in the sand...Like beechman said, you can give a 2-stroke torque if you build right..
..and come to think of it, the first race I ever did on my YFZ was going uphill against a banshee...I wheelied right over lol that would be my fault though...

i think you were being a little childish with that response mike. I believe i was being rather serious and sincere. But yes, if 50% of you quacks traded in your annoying *** 4-strokes for 2-strokes that would make me very happy. Furthermore, why would anybody in their right mind go up a large hill at 1/4 throttle then just decide to wing it. But i guess thats what most of you guys get 4-strokes for...1/4 throttle racing! LMAO

I'll trade in my 4 stroke as soon as they come out with a 2 stroke quad that has electric start, reverse, goes faster, and gets better gas milage than mine.

Mike You said it all except one thing..... stock for stock there's not a 2-stroke alive that can out perform, out handle my DS. Don't bother spouting off about the LT500r as I said alive. That's like talking about the T-rex it still don't scare me. And for you banshee junkies yes I grant you they are fast, but lets have you run against one of the monster 4-strokes with the same amount of mods. The turbo DS is out there waiting to make you a believer too. We all acknowledge what the 2-stroke was in its hayday, but its day is over. Long live the 4-stroke !
and for you lt500abuser I have $47.50 in mods on my DS and there is not a quad around that can get near me. I have raced banshees with a few mods both new 450's and although it's the 500's little brother even when it was completely stock I routinely wasted a lt250r that is piped jetted, reeds, reed cage, bored 30 over, high comp piston, shaved head, re-geared, and the whole bit. The only good thing about racing 2-strokes is that when I slow down they can make sure to tell me if my break light still works.
